Work jacket production is difficult to transfer because the product depends on structure and durability. Fabric stiffness, canvas weight, lining, zipper strength, snap quality, pocket construction, bartacks, collar shape, sleeve fit, hem balance, and reinforcement details all affect the final garment. If the new manufacturer changes any of these without control, the jacket may look similar but feel cheaper or fit differently. Brands should prepare an approved sample, shell fabric standard, lining reference, hardware card, sewing details, measurement chart, and QC checklist. The new factory should make a PP sample using final or bulk-equivalent materials and check TOP samples during production. This helps protect durability, fit, and brand value.
